Revive to Survive hosted a successful Lump Rice Fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward our ongoing initiatives supporting pediatric cancer patients at the National Cancer Institute, Maharagama, Sri Lanka. Over 230 lump rice packets were packed on January 26, 2025 and distributed across two major Houston-area locations.
Each banana leaf-wrapped meal featured a carefully selected menu including rice, eggplant moju, blanachan, chicken curry, mixed meats, plantain curry, cutlets, and seeni sambal. Our team of dedicated volunteers coordinated the entire process, from planning and cooking to packaging and delivery.
Thanks to all the donors, sponsors, and people who ordered, donated, and helped make this event possible. Revive to Survive was able to raise a total of $5,800! This would not have been possible without the support we received from both our community and the generous hearts who have recently learned of our cause. We thank everyone for their generosity towards the patients of the Maharagama Cancer Hospital, and we hope that you enjoyed our event and will join us in helping these patients for many years to come.
