Corbett Daniel Parker

Former Bellaire City Councilman Corbett Daniel Parker is an attorney and community leader that personally believes that “knowledge ultimately calls for a life of service.” Corbett is a Senior Associate attorney practicing corporate transactional law with the downtown Houston law firm of Pagel, Davis & Hill, P.C. Corbett founded and served as Charter President of the modern Rotary Club of Houston Skyline (2008), in which he still devotes significant time. Since 2010, Corbett has served on the Houston Dynamo Charities Board. Corbett is very active in other philanthropic organizations. Honors received include: 2012 Houston Business Journal Top 40 under 40 Award Winner; 2011 Joanne King Herring Young Humanitarian Award; 2011 Five Outstanding Young Houstonians Award presented by Houston Jaycees; 2009 Rotary District 5890 Small Club President of the Year, Multiple Paul Harris Fellows for being Rotarian that brought in the most new members out of over 3,000 Rotarians (2008-2009, and 2011-2012), 2005-06 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to The Netherlands.

Corbett is a graduate of Baylor University (B.B.A. in Finance/Economics) and Pepperdine University School of Law (J.D. and Palmer Center Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology Law), and as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar studied European Private Law at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Corbett graduated from Bellaire High School (member of National and State Championship Baseball Team, inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2006), covered high school football as the youngest sports reporter at the Houston Chronicle during high school, and attended Horn Elementary. He even had a mistletoe business on his Magnolia street corner for a couple Christmases.
