Deidra Dittmar

Deidra Dittmar is currently a senior at Friendswood High School. After graduating, she plans to attend Texas A&M University at Galveston to achieve her Bachelor's degrees in Offshore and Coastal Engineering. She hopes to be able to apply her love of math and science, along with the Ocean, to go on and be a successful engineer.

Deidra is a a very outgoing person, who strives to constantly be active, going outdoors every chance given. Throughout her years in High School, she played Lacrosse for the Friendswood Lady Mustangs, and was a team captain for two of the three years that she played. Along with Lacrosse, Deidra was also a member of the Ultimate Frisbee Club, National honor Society, Technical Student Association and Photography. While significantly involved in her school, Deidra also helped outside of school by participating in volunteer activities for her church and local community.

Throughout the time that is not devoted to studies or outside activities, Deidra enjoys to be around her friends. She loves all the laughs that her friends and family gives her and she constantly strives to make more memories with them. In the future, besides becoming an Ocean Engineer, Deidra hopes to learn to play the guitar and become a better surfer.
